Hi Editors,

I’ll appreciate your help with a map update.

I’m looking to update the Ford Michigan Assembly Area with the correct addresses on each building, the parking lots , and the roads surrounding as well. Many people frequently go to the wrong address when routing to our facility and do not realize they can completely travel around the perimeter of the buildings. Please let me know if there are any further questions.

HI. If someone were routing to one of those facilities, are they allowed to drive through the private gate? I set stop points for the two factories so they route to the parking lot road outside of the gate.

If those private roads are for truck traffic, we would not want to route vehicles or visitors that way.

General public should be routed to one of the parking lots, you are correct.

Did the Body Shop Main Parking Lot not make the last map build? It should be on the Southeast corner of the 37500 Building along the parking lot road. See link below.

Thanks. The parking lot is there now. You should be able to edit anything else that’s needed.

If you edit a PLACE, it just creates a request for an editor to approve.

We recently had a substantial update to the editor, so a lot of stuff is glitchy at the moment.

But - place changes usually show up in the Waze app with minimal delay. Changes to roads require a tile update, which usually happens overnight, but could take an extra day or two.
