To create and share a Waze permalink for a specific location or route, use the Waze Live Map or the Waze Map Editor (WME).
Sharing from the Live Map
- Go to the Waze Live Map .
- Type your starting point and destination or search for a specific location.
- Click the share icon (or permalink option) in the corner of the screen.
- Select Copy Link to save the URL to your clipboard and share it. [1, 2, 3]
Sharing from the Waze Map Editor (WME)
- Open the Waze Map Editor and pan or zoom to the target area.
- Select any specific road segments, junctions, or places if you want them highlighted in the link.
- Click the permalink icon on the side of the screen to generate the permanent URL.
- Copy the link from the pop-up box or your browser address bar. Uncheck layer settings if you do not want your current view layers shared with other editors. [4, 5, 6, 7]
