How mark workplace campus' entrance as permanently closed?

I’m a long-time Waze user but have never attempted to edit anything.

I work at a company west of Allentown. One of the entrances to my workplace campus’ parking lot is permanently closed; however, Waze recommends I use this entrance every time I enter or leave the lot–causing Waze’s alert tone to play repeatedly as I use the nearest entrance.

I’m at my workplace now, having just driven within 50 feet of the closed entrance. The map editor on my desktop PC displays this entrance as a segment. When I click on the segment, the left-hand pane says “This segment is locked. You need to be a level 3 editor to edit this segment.”

How should I proceed?

If you click on that segment, like you did, then hover over the tilted chain link in the lower right corner of your screen and press Ctrl-C to copy the link to the clipboard. That is a permalink (or PL). This is how we find things on the map. It should look something like this: https://www.waze.com/en-US/editor/?env=usa&lon=-75.37077&lat=40.09387&s=87145815&zoom=5&segments=43352146

If you paste that link here, we can look at the segment you are referring to and figure out what needs to be changed.

Thanks! Here’s the link: https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lon=-75.59871&lat=40.55730&s=87268631&zoom=5&segments=72877327

All fixed. Thanks for stopping in. Let us know if there are any additional problems you experience.
