Hello, my account has no errors with logging in and working on both the app and website, however when I go into the editor my username is replaced with ‘[missing %{username} value]’ and any edit I make doesn’t have my username instead it has ‘Wazer(2)’. I did rank up to Editor rank 2 about 3 or 4 days ago, and was thinking that that may have caused this.
I have also tried logging out and back in, and different browsers, they all have the same issue.

I don’t know what could cause this. I amazed how many glitches like this seem to spontaneously fix themselves. But I would try reporting this on the bug form: https://support.google.com/waze/answer/6276841

I’m also experiencing the same issue, also seems to occur after my upgrade to L2. Also reported the bug using the form mentioned by CBenson.

Apparently this also breaks a plugins such as WME validator, it show me the following error:
It would be great to at least get any feedback from a support ticket or a forum post, haven’t seen anything…
I’m also not able to use WME Validator as a result of this, and have submitted 2 tickets with no reply to either. The issue is still present over a week later.
I’ve the same issue. Exactly same issue. I opened this article (https://www.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=897&t=188763) on brazilian forum. The editor reginamaga told me to contact the support and sent me this link https://support.google.com/waze/answer/6308527?hl=pt-BR&ref_topic=6262587#Account. 5 day after, no support contact and some problems of ID on the edit map.
My nickname is back again on WME! I don’t know how its came normal because the support didn’t contact me.

Just checked, mine is still missing 
This is the name next to the settings gear on the upper right corner
WME is not displaying my name. When I pop up chat, it shows blank for my name.
However, when I go into the forums or livemap, my username is shown correctly. I have no new PMs.
Does anyone know what is going on and what I need to do to resolve?
I just tried working a UR and it shows up as Wazer(2). Is there a invisibility setting I inadvertently set?
Same here for me. I think it started some time yesterday or the day before. I didn’t find this topic at first, so inadvertently opened a new topic in Waze Products->Waze Map Editor.
My username is correct in LiveMap, Dashboard, Forums, and the app on my mobile. But it doesn’t show in WME. It broke Validator and Chat Add-on scripts for me.
I just filed the bug report also.
Does anyone have a solution for this issue. It started this morning for me as well and I can’t seem to find a resolution. I also have an issue with the browser crashing once and more frequently screen freezes while editing today which I assume is co-related. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
A solution, no. Not yet.
But I have sent staff an e-mail about this issue. Since it’s now 9:30PM in Israel, I suppose we’ll have to wait until tomorrow’s office hours before it’s read and that hopefully they start working on a fix.
I had no solution, but it’s already normal on my WME. I recommend you to send a message to Waze support and wait 7 days.
I haven’t heard back from my ticket and I sent it on the 10th of May. And it still has not corrected itself for me yet.
How long did you have to wait?
