Greetings Wazers,
Waze, like any other mobile application, undergoes continuous development with new features, performance enhancements, and bug fixes being released regularly. However, user adoption of new versions can be slow and unpredictable leading to an inconsistent user experience.
To help bring users up to the current version, we’re introducing a new feature designed to gradually update their client version, eliminating the need for a massive one-off upgrade like we had to do at the launch of v4.54.
While we don’t plan to initiate a forced upgrade in the near future, this feature will give us a more smooth way to encourage user updates when the time comes.
We expect to roll this out gradually, starting with the release of v5.10 on Aug 21, 2025.
