Navigation to address doesn't find house number

Hi,

I added Metcalfe Rd some time ago with house numbers:

When I try and navigate to 240 Metcalfe road in the waze app or in the map editor, it doesn’t find the house number, and only finds Metcalfe road, so navigates to the middle of this. What’s the problem?

Did you ever get an answer to this? I’m having the same trouble and am not sure how to fix it on the map when people file a report saying the directions are incorrect in getting them to a specific house. Thanks!

No, unfortunately, this problem still occurs :frowning:

Testing it on the live map seems to work, so it had updated. It is possible that your client is using a cached location. I also tried in my client, and although I cant route there from here, it seems to be the same as the live map.

I see it working on the live map, but trying it from my Android client, it only finds the road name, and the marker is in the middle of the road, not on the east side where 240 is…

Is there a way to clear the cache on the client?

Keep in mind when you add an address in Waze, the location you are navigated to is the pin on the street itself, not the bit above the house.

This is old, but was not answered fully.

Check for address routing form client only. Livemap has different settings.
House number on Dirt roads and private roads are not searchable by default.
