Need help editing incorrect location

Hello, I could really use some help editing the incorrect location of my residence. I’ve been able to do this in every platform I’ve tried but waze. The pin is on one of our two outbuildings, which sends uber/lyft/deliveries to an inaccessible location in a pasture or driving aimlessly around the church parking lot down the street. I would be very grateful for a hand.

Thank you!

Catherine

Uber uses a GPS service called MapBox.
DoorDash uses Google Maps from what I can tell
Not sure about Lyft.

When using those apps does it give the option for precise GPS location? If so I’d turn that on and have it ignore the actual address. Just be aware that will end folks at the closest road to you when you make the request. So if your house is on the back of your property and is physically closer to the other road it will assume you’re on that other road. You can also message most drivers in those apps and you can give clear instructions.

Unfortunately Rank 1 (new) editors are currently unable to make changes to the Waze map. (Staff is working on a fix.)
Changes to places can still be made via the app.

If you can share the address in question we can look to make it work better in Waze.

As Dude463 said, however, it may not fix all issues as there are plenty of other mapping products out there.

Hello,

Our address is 22524 75th Ave SE Woodinville, WA 98072. I’ve attached the latitude, longitude and a Google earth photo so you can see which building on the property is the correct location. We always do leave delivery instructions when we’re able. The main problem is delivery drivers who work for any one of a multitude of contractors. They go by what the location service says, rather than the street addresses. The location services put the residence as the rearmost building at the location, which is our haybarn. I’ve heard it’s pretty common for the location to end up at the rear of a property. I’ve updated the location in MapQuest, Google Maps and Apple Maps (these all allow you to move the pin) so far.

Thank you so much for your help,

Catherine

I’ve adjusted the address stop point in Waze.
I searched in my own app and the navigation ends correctly on the segment near your driveway.

Please note - this will only help those who use Waze and search by address.
Anyone using a third-party app that passes raw lat/long to the Waze app for routing will be routed as close as possible to those coordinates.
