Hi there, we’re a local furniture chain called City Home. Currently our Distribution Center is listed on Waze at 6870 North Fathom Street, Portland, OR. That’s an old address though. We need it updated to 7835 SW HUNZIKER St, Tigard, OR 97223.
If anyone could help us out with updating the address I’d be very appreciative. We want to make sure customers know to come to our new address in Tigard to pick up their orders.
That location is actually coming from Google Maps - we don’t have the business mapped at all. I have submitted an address update to Google that will hopefully take effect quickly. You may want to update it there yourself to get it over the right part of the building.
I’m also adding it to Waze.
Can you confirm the hours and phone number to use?
Thank you so much! That’s so weird, we updated the address in our google business profile for that location a long time ago. Maybe it’s because we weren’t able to complete verification for the new location. When I look it up on google maps it shows the old address in the search suggestions, but when I hit enter it centers over the new address as expected. This is the existing listing on google that we have claimed:
We’d prefer not to publish a phone number or hours since it’s only open to customers by appointment. Is that possible or is that information required?
Nope. You’re fine. We don’t have to add hours or number.
It’s possible you’re seeing my move as I got confirmation it was approved almost immediately.
