Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but we are looking to change a business address in Waze.
The business is:
GOLD + ARROW
It’s a salon in Portland. The previous address is 1221 SW ALDER ST.
PORTLAND, OR 97205

The new Address: 302 NW 5th Ave, Portland, OR 97209, United States

The business has moved and you can see the updated address on Google, https://www.instagram.com/goldandarrowsalon/ and Yelp.

Hello- I’m having a very hard time updating a business address in Waze. The business is Adam’s Music in Los Angeles, California.

The current Waze address is 10612 W Pico Blvd. Los Angeles, California. This is incorrect, but I’m not allowed to change it.

The business has moved to a new location further down the same street:

Adam’s Music
11742 W Pico Blvd,
Los Angeles, CA 90064

Here’s the Google Maps listing for the business to verify that 11742 W Pico is the correct address:

Lots of customers are calling the store because Waze is sending them to the old address. Can anyone help me correct this? Thanks in advance.

Gregory,
The old location is not listed in Waze. This is most likely one of two things: First it could be an old search result or saved place that they keep getting routed to. The second is a cached Google Maps pin for the location.

The new location was also not in Waze. I have added it and linked the one Google Maps entry I could find.

Anyone reporting they are having issues should remove it from navigation history (and saved places if it’s there) before searching again.

Our business address for i.e. SmartSystems is not showing the new company address in Waze it’s showing the old one which if 2+ years old.

instead of showing

Hello - I need help, our business relocated and trying to get updated in Waze - see details below:

Business Name - Game Show Battle Rooms
Old address: 8836 7th Ave N, Golden Valley, MN 55427
New address: 1661 West End Blvd, St. Louis Park, MN 55416

Please advise on how we can do this ASAP - customers are showing up to our old address!

I’ll push this to the MN editing community to process the delete for the old location.

This is the old location.

I do recommend using the app to add your business at the new location. Volunteer responding - To add or update a place in Waze, stand at the entrance and tap the report button (triangle with plus sign) then Place. Add a picture and details. After you submit it, editors will review and approve the Place.

I do not want it to show that our business is closed, please DO NOT set to closed, as people may think we’ve gone out of business. Need to change the address of existing business not close business at old address and recreate new business at new address. Please advise.

No one said anything about marking any location as closed.

The old location has been moved to the new location by a local editor. You can see it here.

MN Editor: I moved your Waze place to the new location and updated the address. I also added (Moved) to the name and under the description to raise awareness. If you still get calls about the location in Waze, they need to remove their prior navigation by doing a long-press in their history, then select ‘remove drive’. This will clear the cache for the old spot and a new search will get them to the West End location.
I was recently at the old location and am looking forward to seeing the new place!

Hello! I am trying to add our business to Waze and do not have permission. I am getting the following message, “You do not have permission to make some of the changes.” Could you please kindly help me with adding out business to Waze?

I have approved the place update you submitted, but removed some of the changes. Waze does not handle suite numbers. We also do not put the places in the middle of the building. I returned the lock level to 3.
