Hi guys,
I need some help updating a business address for a client of mine. The business name is Allura Medspa and here are the details:
Old address:
31 Jalan Wangsa Delima 12, Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur
New address:
22a-1, Kedai D’wangsa, Blok 3c, Jalan Wangsa Delima 11, Wangsa Maju, 53300 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The strange thing is, if I look up the business on waze.com/live-map, it shows the new address. But if I search for the business on the app, it shows the old one.
I’ve been struggling with this for months and any help would be much appreciated.
Hi, that means that the result in the app you are getting is a result from Google or another third party source, as Waze sources these information from a few sources. Can you provide a permalink of the location in Waze Map Editor to allow us to look into it?

I’ve tried to edit using the map editor but for some reason, I can’t get it to work. I managed to edit the location in 2018 but I can’t figure out how to do it again.
I’ve also updated the address on google maps but I can’t think of more places to update the address.

Ok here’s what you can do. Click on the Place Point and you will be able to move it around. Move it to the new location, update all the details that has changed such as the address, remove the old picture as well since it no longer looks like how the new place looks. Once all the changes are made, you may click on Save. It will be normal that you see everything revert back to the old details and location, as all the changes you make are pending moderation by senior editors.
To confirm the changes you made are submitted for moderation, you can enable the Place Issues layer in the menu on the right. If a little pin appears above the Place Point, that means your changes have been submitted for review. You will then need to refresh the page before clicking on that pin to see the changes that are pending moderation.
Once that is all done, you may join our FB group and post a request for your changes to be approved. Be sure to include the permalink like you did in this thread. An editor with sufficient level should let you know if your changes are approved if there are no mistakes in the edit. You can also mention to have the location in Google Maps linked to this Waze location, as this is a Level 2 and above feature. I am unfortunately unable to do that for you myself as Wangsa Maju is not in my editable area
