I am new to this, and frankly do not desire to learn much, but I wanted to warn you and ask to add the following speed radars to Waze, please:
A5 Karlsruhe - Basel (Baden - Baden, KM 655,580)
A5 Karlsruhe - Basel (Neuenburg, KM 788,000)
I paid over €400 on these two (for 2 shitty photos), so I just wanted to make sure all other drivers adhere to the rules and do not have unnecessary expenditures =)
Thank you for your information.
Regarding official speed camera sources, both submitted places (Baden-Baden and Neuenburg) are not known as fixed speed radars.
Probably these are only mobile speed radars, set up by police.
In the Waze Map-Editor we can only map fixed speed radars or dummy speed radars.
Mobile speed radars can be reported in the Waze App following the yellow report button > police > mobile speed camera.
Yes, you can report the speed radar, as a mobile speed camera in the app.
Since it is not a fixed speed camera, we cannot map them it in the editor.
I don’t know how it is in Spain, but mobile speed cameras on highways are not uncommon in Germany. However, depending on the Wazer density, the mobile speed camera should already have been reported by other Wazers.
These are active in the map after a certain time and warn other Wazers. A confirmation of the report extends the display duration in the map.
