Hello. I’m a new editor based in the Dupage County area. I’m looking for help with tips and tricks to get started. I’m currently only a level 1 editor and I’ve been reading around for some tips on how to get level 2. I’ve been trying to add new areas in my local area that haven’t been added yet and it doesn’t let me half the time. I’ve also been trying to add roads and always get the “That change isn’t allowed at this time and won’t be sent for review”. Any tips on how to add new things when I currently can’t?

I attempted to add new places that aren’t on the map in my area and it won’t let me. I think this is because of my level, but do you have any suggestions for this?

Hello and welcome. Looking at your editor profile page Editor user profile, it looks like you are literally brand new. A few things are likely happening. First, the edit suggestion feature currently only works for existing segments, Second, there is a waiting period for brand new accounts before they can make new roads. That time frame has not been published. Finally, there was an issue with WME that prevented most edits from being made this week. That should clear up in the next day or so,
