This scrolling acceleration/kinetic panning is WAD and is a “feature” that was added while you were away on a break here.

You can disable it with the WMEFU script if you don’t like it.

I know this is not about kinetic panning because I’ve seen this problem many times myself. @JasonN899 is talking about a situation where you start to move the map before it is properly loaded and then the move is accelerated to ridiculous proportions and the roads do not load anymore. Like Jason, I note you’re also running at least one WME addon (which, perhaps coincidentally, was also one of the ones running in their demo video), so as with my advice to them, my advice to you would be to see if you can reproduce this issue if you’re running WME as the developers intend it to run - i.e. without ANY scripts, browser extensions etc. altering how it behaves.

Yes, I know it’s due to some script, don’t know which one and it doesn’t bother me enough to go through some 40 scripts to find out I was just clarifying Jason wasn’t talking about kinetic panning like you suggested.

Hi,

With the Issue tracker enabled, for me WME is considerable slow.
I got the best editing experience with Issue trackers Synch results with map unchecked.

It a pity that this set-up results in a Search this area button top middle of the edit panel.
Quite annoying when you don’t want to search this area but just want to edit the map.
Better remove this button altogether. Feels like a bug to me.

It is definitely not a bug. It is as intended. I do agree that made smaller and maybe movable, but that would be a feature request.

Hi, folks.

I’m not too sure whether it is a bug on WME or with the servers not updating the number, as i have justed noticed today. However, as shown in the 2 below screenshot/attachments, the current “Forum Posts” seem to be stuck to a previous value?

The forum post count on the editor profile page is notoriously behind in being updated.

I also noticed today, that after handling some URs & PURs they have not updated on the count. This was working a few days ago, to what i last checked? Is this a similar issue?

Issue tracker - filtering issues by area seems to have broken in the latest release. If I select to filter by map area, sometimes it shows no issues in current area even if I know that there are. If I select to filter by ‘area I manage’ and pick an area which I know has maybe 40+ issues within it, sometimes only a few (maybe 7 or 8) will show in the list.

Often - but not always - this seems to be fixed by selecting filtering to a specific area and selecting the whole United Kingdom, then switching back to the desired filter area. After a while it reverts to the problematic behaviour. I’ve tried to see a pattern in this, and work out whether there’s a combination of actions which consistently breaks, and fixes, it, but nothing’s obvious. But it’s definitely not functioning correctly.
