New Private Road Update Request

Hi, please accept my apologies if I haven’t requested the right way, I’ve not had to request a map update before.

My friend has moved into a new house at the following location:

There is a new, small private road which services the houses on this development, which runs from the main road to the approximate location of the barn on the satellite imagery (due south from the road to the barn). The road is called ‘The Rickyard’, its UK postcode is HR4 8FH.

I have never been there, so have no editing rights. Please could you make the appropriate changes? She is not getting her deliveries as that post code erroneously references somewhere in Weobley, which is approx 10 miles from this location.

Hi there,

I’ve mapped The Rickyard, it should appear in the app in a few days.

Waze doesn’t natively store postcodes, any use of a postcode in the search will use Google data to find the centre of the postcode area and Waze will navigate to the closest point. HR4 8FH doesn’t exist in Google data. Not all delivery companies use Waze.

Thanks for this, she’s really grateful. She has asked Google to add the road and the postcode too, so hopefully it will all marry up in the end.
