I have been having a pretty hefty problem with waze (only waze) stating I don’t have internet connectivity while routing/wazing.
I tried to search for something along this topic with google search but I could not find any other threads along this topic in my search. Anyway, I have had this on both of my devices (which had strong 3G signal and plenty of bars too). I will have a route and be driving and then I will reroute (a LOT even when I am not doing any turns and am on the route prescribed). Or if I hit the scoreboard (attempt to) I get this and then 2 seconds later it will work (and then go out again). It’s like the waze servers are having problems accepting the connections, but I can’t confirm that.
This has been mentioned a few times on here now but I haven’t seen a response from the developers beyond them requesting log files (which is fair enough) - I’m not sure on the current status of this but I haven’t been able to generate anything yet, I do see the same issue though. Usually a Waze restart sorts it for me until the next time.
I send the logs every time I get an issue as I have been asked for logs before on other troubleshooting of waze.
This also seems to be affecting my ability to send reports. I can sometimes (more like rarely) send a report about something or I can chat/ping. Most of the time i get an error. When this happens, I immediately send the logs. Maybe this is overkill but, I don’t know what is in the logs So, I just send them and hope that it will help resolve the issue…
I have also had a problem in the past where I couldn’t even get in on the network (issue internal to waze app on my phone). I ended up having to uninstall and then reinstall the app and all was fine…
I just got my new phone last night and the issue persists on it too so, this is 3 out of 3 devices where the “network” comes and goes…
