I’ve been using Waze for nearly two weeks now, and using the nav function going to work and back for a week. Not to mention the hundreds of miles spent munching unclaimed roads around town and up to Pittsburgh.
The dashboard says it was updated yesterday, 11/11/10. I have no miles and no routes. The phone client registered enough miles to get me out of baby status, so something is recording my miles. So what gives?
It is a well-known-unsolved problem. I am no 1000km’s behind on routes. Short routes are updated faster than longer routes, so all long routes remain unprocessed.
Same here. I am missing more than 1500 kms from last week. As Atlas mentions, in my case it’s mostly the longer routes (>100km) and routes abroad (1 in Germany and 2 in France/Belgium) that are missing. But they will appear eventually, at least that’s my experience. Never missed one single route.
US server is getting even more behind than it was already. They say it’s supposed to be catching up slowly, but it is now 2 1/2 weeks behind… going to be 3 weeks behind soon.
The livemap seem to come out more frequently (in the US) than I expected but what little routes I have received don’t seem to be on them. The good news is that some status is available at: status.waze.com and you can follow @waze_status for updates to that page. I really enjoy clearing roads so that the routing improves, but it has been a while since that has happened. Waze on.
The live map should finally reflect the reality in my neighborhood in a couple more days (where did they get the original data anyway? Yikes!). But at this rate I don’t expect any routes to show up before Xmas. >_<
