I was wondering. Is it possible to allow entering an alert even if I don’t have a connection?
I live in a country where I don’t have connection always. Sometimes I’m offline for a block or two. If I have to enter an Alert and I don’t have connection I would like to be able to register it anyway and, as soon as I have connection back, automatically post it in.

Sebas… :geek:
This is a great suggestion. I’ve thought the same thing!
Currently, no. We’ve had this request in to Waze for quite some time. However, they are focused on adding features of a different nature for the time being. Certain types of reports would be good to hold for a period of time while retrying or waiting for the network to come back up. I would say a time limit on some would be 20-30 minutes and then they wouldn’t get sent. A cop or roadside hazard would likely be gone by then anyway. Map issues would be held indefinitely, though, as those are not traffic-related and not transient.
I completely agree! Hopefully it would not be too complicated to code the apt to:
1.) Store the details of a post when offline.
2.) When the phone regains a network connection, check for offline posts that are less than 20 minutes old and post them with the correct GPS coordinates of where the post was made.
That would be a huge benefit to all of us Wazers that are not in coverage 100% of the time.
