Hi,
I use Waze for 3 days, it is really greet tool, but if I got to my point table in Iphone or to my dashboard in waze.com I see nothing there no points no routes. But driving whit Waze I am reporting, driving over candies and other things, so I have made some progress and some points must be displayed… Any comments?

Welcome to waze!
another newb with the same question. The FAQ mentions about weekly points being calculated every monday, but the My Scoreboard on the Client App say “Updated every 24 hours”. so is there a difference between daily points and weekly points?
Apparently I’m only short of a next level by 17 miles, but have no rank and no points. Will I have to wait for next monday before all this is calculated? Will the website scoreboard catch up at this point too ? as it currently says null/null 0 0…
Earlier today, it said 50 miles to next level, since then I only drove 20 miles to get home and now it says 17 miles to next level. Are miles being cached on my device and sent to the server in batches and then requested from the server before being displayed? A little confusing… :?
Ignore the ‘updated every 24 hours’ on the scoreboard. They need to change that. It is ‘supposed to’ update every 24 hours, but rarely does.
Yes, the client info can be out of sync with the server. There are lots of posts on this but the server updates your points etc. after the routes are processed - which does not happen real-time. The info on the Dashboard and Scoreboard are the ‘official’ tallies.
I’ve posted this a few times, so sorry if I get to succinct. ![]()
Waze uses our gps data for all sorts of calculations, time-of-day expected average speeds, allowed turns at intersections and road directionality auto-updates, missing road detection, etc. Once that processing is done, the route is allowed to update our dashboard. Would it be nice if the route could appear while all that other stuff is updating on another server? Absolutely! But we have to live with a bit of a delay, which is typically 3-5 days. That seems like a lot when you’re new to Waze and trying to get points to the next rank, etc. But after a while, you’ll find that it’s just a bit of delay and the points will show up, just not instantly.
Thanks for the information guys. It’s always easy to find when you know what you are looking for ![]()
As it turned out, the moment my client app told me I had done the first 100 miles and could change my mood, my points and rank were updated at the same time. Perhaps this is a milestone that needs to be passed before the first update?
You are a ‘baby’ until you drive 100 miles. You can’t change your mood until you are no longer a baby.
