First off… my apologies if this is not the correct place to post this. Please move / rename the thread as appropriate.
I-76E and I-76W over Kenmore have had significant construction going on. The leg of I-76 that goes over Kenmore has been closed westbound for 35 days and should theoretically open again today now that I-76E over that same leg is being closed for the next 35 days.
ODOT’s real-time traffic dashboard indicates the following:

Location: I-76 in both directions, between I-77 and I-277.
Route status: Closed
Est End Date: 7/17/2015 5:00:00 PM
Description: Interstate 76/Kenmore Leg in the City of Akron (Thursday Hun 4 until further notice) beginning Thursday, June 4, I-76/Kenmore Leg eastbound between I-77 and I-277 will be closed through mid-July for pavement repairs and resurfacing. As a result, the following ramps will be closed through mid-July as well. The ramp from I-277 westbound to I-76/Kenmore Leg eastbound. The detour will be I-76 westbound to SR 21 northbound to I-77 southbound.
Can someone update the map with the closure(s)? Like I said, westbound is likely reopening imminently (I’ve seen the finished blacktop and lines painted) and they’re now switching to the eastbound lanes. Closing westbound is probably pointless at the point, however eastbound will be closed until mid-July.

I-76 W has had all closures removed. I-76 E is now fully closed, as drivers reported real-time closures indicating it was already closed.
Livemap view that shows current closures.
Please double-check and make sure all segments/ramps for I-76 W are in fact open, and I-76 E is fully closed.
I have eastbound closed through 19 July. If it’s going to be sooner or later than that, please contact the team either through Hangouts, forum post, or PM, and we’ll get it adjusted.

Please bear with me - I don’t drive in the area a lot but came across the construction yesterday. I was headed east on the 76, hoping to take the 76-Kenmore to the 76E. Then I noticed a sign saying the exit there was closed, and to follow a detour. I followed the detour and it sent me N on SR21 to Copley and from there on the 77S (until I was back on/it changed back to the 76E). Looking at your livemap (last post) I could have kept going on the 277E and then at the 224E went on the 77N to 76E?
Also, any tips on doing this route westbound next weekend? Exit the 76W to the 77S to 277W and back onto 76W is what I’m thinking?
