HOV is fairly dynamic as staff continues to tweak in preparation for its roll out to production - Soon ™

We received some new guidance from staff recently and propose the following changes to the HOV and TBSR pages. TBSR is on the Partial Restriction page.

Since these changes have come from staff and been vetted by several Champs in the HOV Liaison Team, they will go live on the respective wazeopedia pages on Tuesday 11/14/17, to make sure the latest information is out to our editors in preps for the production release. So please get any comments for changes in quickly.

I changed “The following companies’ toll transponders are supported in WME, they are listed alphabetically in the app:”
to
“The following is a list of all toll transponder companies, passes, permits, and special license plates supported by Waze. By default they are only displayed in their assigned states in the client, and they are listed alphabetically.”

another note, the screen shots should be replaced with native WME ‘sans scripts’ images

I will also replace the Sunpass to the new first listed pass

Think that is from Alabama. Both in word and screen shot

Sunpass is Florida - Alabama is Freedom Pass

Yes I am saying that I am going to list Alabama Freedom Pass as the first on the list since that is what is now in WME Production, vice the old first listed transponder which was Sunpass which is applicable to Florida.
Will also post new pictures of the list.

The changes for Alabama Freedom Pass, new list, and the be sure to map all segments (ramps optional) have been made. All pictures are updated. I also replaced some pictures that had clicksaver showing with scriptless pictures as requested by a Champ.

Next proposed change is to state that no Allowable restrictions are required if the toll can be paid by cash or pay by plate.

Now that USA roll-out is complete, I have made the following change:

  • Replace the “not yet rolled-out” warning with a “recently rolled out” warning with an as of date of December 2017
