Perry Road Halifax Vermont, no longer thru road. I am Level 1 cannot close road, request Update

Perry Road Halifax Vermont
Perry Road Going from Green River Road to Old Country is no longer a thru road, Town closed upper span of it permanantly, mapping is still showing it as thru road though it is not usable. I am Level 1 and would request that the road be closed by a person with the needed level.

Thanks for letting us know. I am on a mobile device right now but will investigate further this evening when I am at a computer. Do you know if the road was abandoned, turned into a legal trail, or just made class 4?

The VT E911 resources show Perry Rd to be a town road to where the driveway where house number 297 is. From that point further to the southeast the road is classified as a private road - that is, it is not maintained by Halifax.

There are two camps on the other end of Perry Rd (where it connects to Old County Rd).

I’ve updated Perry Rd to make its status Off Road / Not Maintained between these camps and where it becomes a town road. I wasn’t able to find any info in town or state records that the road has been discontinued in that middle / western section. If in fact its posted that not a through road or something similar let us know and we can think about actually deleting the segment I modified this evening:
