I am trying to run personal map raid in Trenton Area. There is just too many “red” URs on the map.
Since I am only R3 I have ran into several situations where I need an unlock help from R4 and R5. I have posted several requests in US Unlock Request forum, but it’s been days and nobody seems to be looking at that.
Is there anyone who wants to work with me on this?
I just got my head out of Canada for the latest MapRaid. I sent you a PM about joining our NJ Google Hangout, and would be willing to help clean-up / support your efforts when I have time.
Also, it looks like your Unlocks were mostly addressed but let me know if not.

Are you trying to measure map problem solving skills of newer editors? That seems to be what many of orbit’s recent map raids are striving to accomplish. You know, prepare solvable URs ahead of the raid start, take note of who fixes what while more senior editors help newer ones solve map problem during the first part of the raid, collect recommendations, and then promote accomplished participants accordingly. It’s essentially a mass-mentoring session.
Without that though, I’m not sure we need a map raid. Just start tackling URs and send me an unlock request with the segments you need unlocked selected, along with a brief statement of what the problem is and how you plan to fix it, and I’ll unlock it for you. The best way to do this is to join the MapRaid Slack team and direct message (DM) me there.
PS you could also ask me for advice on any UR you can’t figure out

One of the purpose of the MapRaid is for the community to come together and work towards the same goal. Whatever that may be or with who, could change. Tho, still require more than one person. Most importantly, you need a champ to help you with that. We are also planning on having a MapRaid in NJ. PhantomSoul is going to take the lead on that.
As I understand that another part of the purpose of a map raid is “to resolve MP’s, UR’s, mass add “Places”, fix connectivity problems and add missing roads in a pre-determined area of the map”.
I was not really serious when I called this a raid. I just saw an area that appears to be largely neglected and I set myself up to clean it.
If anything I am still working on improving my own map editing skills.
The real reason I opened this topic in the first place is that I am trying to get three L5 unlocks done. It has been two weeks since I’ve originally posted them and after several reposts on several forums and Google Hangouts they are still locked and not corrected. And these unlocks are responses to URs that were reported months ago.
So, how’s progress with your URs?
