Agree! There are lots of unmapped areas to be discovered.

i see jploh as one of the editors
can you guys put junctions on every intersections so can have routing to work?

btw, ungas… san mo nakuha yung 30k points mo hahaha

Pano ba mag edit ng roads? I need to edit my previous created roads. Kaso mahina ako sa editing.

I got the points while creating newly developed road maps. I made the north luzon loop recently, kaya lumobo sa points. Plus, I average 250 kilometers per trip monthly.

sorry for the late reply. please ask to be area manager. send email to alpha at waze dot com.
please make sure that you put junctions on every intersections for navigating purposes.

Hi to all! Just transferred from Nokia E72 w/ Garmin XT and OSM-PH map to a BB with google maps, so i searched around trying to find a decent GPS app with a detailed PH map. Saw this site, and it sounds very promising  At once i wanted to ask if we can use OSM maps here, but saw in the FAQs that we can’t, so ok, guess we’re back to square one. That means, let’s get tracing again!

welcome to waze. and enjoy editting.
we should make a standard on how the roads, ramps, service roads. anyone?

its not enjoyable… its ADDICTING! hehehe

i’m just starting to edit Davao City, and in my opinion we should not use Highways/Minor Highways, just about in every big road, since i believe only Luzon has it, NLEX, SLEX, etc. so for the major roads i just use Primary streets, and others as streets. much easier to handle

I’m plotting first the primary roads, deleting any node/junction so to make one long continuos segment for the entire length of the road name (since we have lots of roads with one name on one side of a junction, then another name on the opposite side :X), then just add junctions manually for every intersection. that way connecting segments can be done systematically.

it also helps if the map is relatively bare, so there are few erratic segments, but there are some long traces which didn’t coincide with any street, so i guess some pilots failed to turn off their Waze before flying

hello Philippine Wazers…

i think this is a good guide for classifying our roads…
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pan-Philippine_Highway

Pan-Philippine Highway (Maharlika Highway / Daang Maharlika / National Highway) is the major backbone of our road networks (mula luzon, visayas hangang mindanao)… it is also known as AH26 in the Asian Highway Network…

katamad magedit… lag yung servers :frowning:

How do get the updates i made into my device? I added area in Paranaque behind LTO but it is still just showing san vicente ferrer.

Waze backend is unreliable… Takes weeks to be uploaded to phone… Have you added junctions?

Hi guys, do we have an area manager? Mali yung route ng waze kahit sa Makati. Ang bagal naman ng server pag mag-edit pero so far nakaka-resolve na ako ng mga map issues sa mga nadadaanan ko  di pa nga lang sya nag-update sa map ko

great pls do fix them. also you apply as area manager. kainis lng talaga bagal ng updates nila.

Is it just me or parang nag reset yung points?

I am now an area manager of most of metro manila. I have also done a ton of edits, update requests, and problem resolution. Need to make a few side trips to widen my area

how do you edit maps?

go to https://world.waze.com/editor/ to edit the map

napakalabo naman ng map resolution.

when i use “pave road” on my phone, does that get submitted as an edit on the map? or ako lang ang makakakita nun?

zoom out para maging malinaw resolution, parang may bug pa yung editor na kailangan zoom in/out para maging maayos yung display.

yung “pave road” para dun sa mga roads na hindi pa existing sa map sa client app display, it gets submitted to the server but it does not get displayed to others immediately. you can see it on your map editor but the other users will have to wait until it gets processed into the main map tiles. this year there has only been one update and that was last January 30 and the updates that were included were those done before January 14.

There was another scheduled map tile update scheduled yesterday according to the waze status page http://status.waze.com/
