Place pin needs to route to car park

HI,
I have tried searching for an answer but can’t find anything that matches my issue, apologies if there is an answer somewhere I have missed.
area in question permalink
The 3 highest place pins need to route people to the car park ( restricted to all visitors to this location, not public) on the map. This is the only place they can park to visit these locations.
Currently routing to the top pin and the other one closest to it sends them to Hoo lane, there is no official parking here and you can’t access the place without walking to the area just above the top corner of the car park.
Please note that the > shaped road visible on the sat. view but not on the road map is now blocked off for car use.
routing to to the 3rd pin sends them to the closest private road which does pass the car park entrance so would probably be used by any visitor.

So is it possible to set the car park as the destination for these places or do I have to move the pins from their correct location to the car park

Thanks
Trevor

Moved to UK forum for local assistance.

You can’t link the car park to the individual locations but you can set the destination point for each location to the car park access road, which I have done.

I have also tidied up the new roads by setting their address attributes. If you’d like to learn more about mapping in Waze you can join the UK Mentoring program and take a look at the UK Wazeopedia.

PS, thanks for moving this John.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the info although you got me with “destination point”, could not find using that name until I translated to “entry point”.
I had read about these but thought they were for areas, obviously not.

I used to do a lot of map editing when motorways were editable by anyone and I spent time creating roundabouts from individual road segments for motorway junctions.

These days its a bit more adhoc due to time issues.

Regards
Trevor
