Hi
I (tried to) used Waze to go to the Cathedral Medical Centre in Ely. It is part of the Princess of Wales Hospital complex. There is parking & access from a loop off Davison Road https://www.waze.com/livemap?lon=0.27598&lat=52.41379&zoom=17.
Travelling from the west, eg Cam Drive, Ely, Waze takes you to Lumley Close https://www.waze.com/livemap?lon=0.27468&lat=52.41393&zoom=17. Access from there would require a crane with wrecking ball - which won’t fit in the boot
I have tried moving the map point for the medical centre to the closest point to the access & away from the wrong location & adding an address all to no avail.
Is there anything left that I can try to give the correct results - I know that I can use the hospital as my destination, but the next user who has no idea where the centre is won’t.
Presumably this crops up for other destinations set away from the closest road?
Without editing rights in the area I can only make suggestions…

Have you deleted this destination from your recent history list, Waze will cling onto your historic destination points, deleting it will force Waze to get the new data.

Linking the Waze Place with the Google Maps location might help as Waze will often use the Google data and this might be overriding your editing corrections. This might need to be done by an L3 editor.
Otherwise using the Waze Place takes you into Davison Road
My guess on this (I can’t check properly as I’m on my phone) is that the point for the area is still central and navigation will take you to the closest navigable segment to that point. Moving the point to the appropriate car park (which shouldn’t be mapped as it is technically private, ‘parking lot’ roads should be added as appropriate). If the hospital has lots of car parks for different departments then each department, not car park, should be added with the ‘customer parking’ option ticked. Pretty sure we don’t have a naming convention for large areas with specific points but use common sense and it should be good.
