Waze is incorrectly showing that the Chaudiere Bridge has reopened between Ottawa and Gatineau. I am only a level 3, so I cannot edit the map.
Can someone please edit the map to show that the bridge remains closed to traffic in both directions? Unfortunately the Government of Canada only says that it’s closed “until August”, but from the looks of things I doubt it will reopen next week. I would recommend that it be listed as closed until the end of the month.

Will do, thanks! Ottawa/Gatineau traffic has been a nightmare this summer with all the closures.
My pessimism was unwarranted. The bridge reopened this morning at 5 am Eastern time. However, there remains a lot of construction. There is a contraflow southbound from the southern edge of the bridge until half-way between Vimy Place and the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway. One lane in each direction.
On the northern side of the bridge (in Gatineau), the road is now permanently one lane in each direction.
Thanks, I’ve re-opened the bridge. As for the lane restrictions, the Waze algorithm will automatically adjust to the continued construction and lane changes.
