I’ve been on Waze for a month now, using it almost every day and have even made map edits. However I still have zero points registering. Is there something I need to do to get them to register?
Points can sometimes be quite delayed to update although they typically will still be recorded and eventually reflected in your profile. I believe it’s a low priority process so can sometimes take a bit.

Yes, I’ve looked at that before. But it says North America is up to date. Which it’s not. At least for me.
The point system is notoriously buggy, as can be seen by the various complaints on the forum. Since your account is not even a month old, this is to be expected. I would wait a few more weeks before trying to contact support.
Edit: I should add that no matter what, your points are not “lost”. They will turn up eventually.
Additionally, they’re really not “worth” anything. You’ll also notice, if you’re doing a lot of edits at once, that not all your edits will count. You may do 1000 edits in a few hours, but only a couple hundred will show up. Take my count, for instance, it only shows 45,000, but I guarantee it’s higher than that due to the number of speed limits, etc that I’ve edited.
It’s also worth noting that edits and points are not what we’re concerned with. We’re more concerned with edit quality. If you are consistently making high quality edits and seeking to improve (feel free to reach out to us!) you’ll be given rank increases based on your ability.
