Primary Streets - Lock Level?

Hello folks,

I have noticed some, Primary Streets have lock levels from 3 & above but some do not and a locked at L1?

What is the reason behind that, is it to do with the area, road usage etc?

Hi!
The UK uses an auto-locking system based on essentially how busy that segment of road is compared to others.

Some primary streets could be L1 because they’re not busy, and some could be L4 because it’s a main road through a town or something, and anything inbetween.
Sometimes we lock roads for other situations like - from the wiki “For example: a no-right-turn where you wouldn’t expect one;”, to prevent incorrect but well intended changes.
