I am new to this Waze thing and so far I think it’s great and a lot of fun! However I have a question about the road cookies that users can “eat” as they drive on the road for the first time. I drove over a couple of new roads and my cookie muncher ate the cookies in the app and they disappeared only to reappear on the map on my pc and on the app. Is this normal?

Yeah once isn’t always enough to satisfy the server that the roads been munched enough. Rest assured you’ll still get the points for munching!
Where are you seeing munchable roads in the PC though?
They are on the live map. At least I think they are munchable cookies. 
I see them at location: -93.30025, 45.05842 if you want to take a look.

No. They are just regular neighborhood two way streets.
I’m pretty sure that they never disappeared from the Live Map. The appearance of the Live Map on the North American server hasn’t changed since I’ve been here. In other words the appearance of the Live Map does not correlate with the current data in waze.
Oh. Well at least my points will still be recorded. Thanks for the help!
Ah, North America, for some reason I made an assumption that you were in Europe! The Live Map on the NA server does not, visually, update! Even with newly edited roads!
I actually went down an access road and the cookies were never eaten…
