Hi,
Please unlock (or update) the segments of State St and Ellsworth Rd to allow the linking of new parking lot roads for the Speedway gas station in the SE corner of State and Ellsworth.
I am a Rank 1 editor.
Please note the satellite image data for the intersection is obsolete. The intersection was rebuilt with a roundabout some time ago, and the various businesses around it have remodeled. In the case of the Speedway gas station, it is a much larger structure with redesigned traffic flow (parking, access to pumps and convenience store).
The parking lot road segments I added are based on my actual drive data for entry from two separate driveways from State St into the station lot and a single driveway onto Ellsworth.

Thanks!
SDM
SDM,
Thanks for adjusting the roads for the new station. I went ahead and updated it because State and Ellsworth segments (particularly with the older aerial) are not good candidates to lower to rank 1. I actually locked the parking lot roads higher as well because they don’t match the aerial. In general, those would stay rank 1.
On a separate note, I noticed that you added some other parking lot roads (PLRs) here: https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lon=-83.68453&lat=42.30394&layers=997&zoom=4&segments=80455476
They are red in the editor and are meant to stand out for a reason. Make sure that when you add roads, all information including city and street name are added, and they should be white. In some cases, checking the “None” box next to city and/or street is appropriate. PLRs generally don’t have street names. You can also enable the city layer in the editor to check the boundary for Ann Arbor, but most things in townships around the area are marked as “No City”. If you have any questions, feel free to post in the Michigan forum (link in signature below) or send me a private message.
Davielde,
Thanks for making the changes to the State and Ellsworth PLRs and for pointing out the issue with the other PLR segments I’d added (missing the state name).
I appreciate the help!
