I just resolved a map issue by adding a parking lot road that connects to Highland ave. All turns should be allowed, but Highland ave has a level 4 lock and I am level 1.
That parking lot is still Red - which means it’s unfinished. See the Creating and Editing street segments section of the Waze wiki for more details.
The northern end of the parking lot wasn’t connected to Highland Ave either.
I’ve made that connection and allowed the turns, BUT I’m leaving it up to you to finish the lot properly.
Also, the southern part of the lot is ONE big segment that doesn’t connect back to itself. It need to be three segments. One for the approach, and TWO for the loop section. See the Junction Style Guide in the Waze wiki for more on this.
Okay, I think I have it all fixed. Crud, I’ve edited a lot this way . . . I’ll have to see if I can fix the old edits. I had thought the road was red because nobody had driven on it since it was created (and thus it has road munchies).
The T-Intersection on the loop still isn’t connected here: https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=7&lat=41.7979&lon=-71.334&layers=TBFTTFTTTTTTTFTTTFTTTTTTT&env=usa&segments=77416802
There were a few other small lots that I saw you mapped that were still red. Typically small lots aren’t mapped in Waze (parking lot roads & streets currently look identical in the editor, so there will be issues if you map all the little lots).
