Real time information about road closures and passability

Hello,
My name is Matija, CEO of EcoMobile company which is engaged in development and production of waste and fleet management solutions in Croatia and EU. Curently we are providing solutions for 73 municipal companies in Croatia, and 200+ private companies. I’m addressing you on behalf of our client, City of Zagreb. As company we provide software solutions for their day to day operations, and one of these operations is road closures for all types of construction works in Zagreb. Because of rules prescribed by City of Zagreb, only one that can close a road (partial or full closure) is company Zagreb Roads, owned by City of Zagreb. Also in 2 months from now, all requests for road closures from citizens and companys in Zagreb will be done through our software solution and processing of those is done through digital work orders in our software. Idea of our partner, beacuse they have all informations about road closures and passability in real time, is to provide these informations to citizens of Zagreb to improve quality of traffic conditions in Croatia’s capital through Waze maps by direct integration over API or some other method.
This is just a short introduction, I am not getting into technical details at this moment.
If we can arrange private topic it would be great.

Sounds like you all would be a great candidate for the Waze for Cities program. The Waze for Cities program allows authorized partners to feed closures and other incidents directly to Waze, which sends it to both Waze and Google Maps users. Additionally, there is an option to share the live location of slow moving vehicles such as refuse/trash trucks or snow plows.

To learn more about the program and to apply, visit the Waze for Cities page on the waze.com website.

Thank you very much for quick reply, I will certainly start by there. Do you maybe have any advice?

The Waze for Cities program is administered by Waze Staff. Once you complete the application and are accepted as a partner, you’ll get access to the Partner Hub with information how to setup a incident or moving vehicle feed, or how to add closures manually to the Waze map. You’ll also have access to a Partners forum where you can get advice from other Partners.

I have completed application, waiting for Waze to reply. Your information was very helpful, thanks again
