Rename a miss-spelled city

I have come across a user report that correctly identifies a misspelling of a city (suburb really)

Coolongup should be Cooloongup.
I cant seem to find a way of changing this, I assume a level 3 map editor cant change city names.
Can someone else correct?

If the segment with the name of the wrong town name is lower than a level 3, then you should be able to fix it. I did a spot check and saw a bunch of level 1 edits from a week or so ago. The problem is, you’re going to have to find every single wrong segment and change it before it will reflect in the editor or the app.

The City names shown on the map are derived from the City names in each street segment. The first step in fixing the wrong spelling is to fix all the street segments that have the wrong City name. As far as I can see, this has already been done for your example. However, the second step - the disappearance of the bad name - doesn’t actually happen automatically at present.

I’ve had some of them name change on me before. Most of wrong city names I can find, I submit to Waze and they fix it there.

I found another couple of missnamed citys, so will have a crack at sorting then now I understand how the city names are created.
Someone did fix the example I posted above, and fast - maybe the waze gods… lol
