Hi All,

I wish to check if we can submit a flood report to Waze through any API. So that we can notify other users on this?

Using an API I think it is not possible.

The best way is to report it to your country Champs!

  • If the road is closed they can add a closure.
  • If it is just an hazard but cars can go trough, they can place an alert in the map.

The previous posts were correct, but just to clarify.

There is no API app users can access to submit information. You can mark the road as closed in the App, and if no traffic is ever routing down that road (with Waze on) then the routing engine will close the road.

You can also inform your local editing community either through these forums or any relevant chat platform your community uses that you are a part of, and the community can ensure the road is marked as closed.
