I don’t have permissions to update a map to show an upcoming construction project, which will completely close a busy road near me, but I do have credit for 5 map updates through the years that I’ve done. I think others have done the updates for me, thus I did not get permissions to do the updating.
How can I update a road that will be closing Monday March 1 in my area, and that I get credit for it? I have city announcement page URL, etc for proof of upcoming closure. Thank you
Road closures can only be added by a level 3 or higher editor. If you provide us the information here we can get the closures added for you.
Since you only have 23 edits and it takes a minimum of 3000 edits to reach level to level 2 and many more to reach level 3, you will need to join your local editing community in their Discord chat room and get guidance and assistance on general map editing first.

The Quarry Road Resurfacing Phase 1 project will consist of the resurfacing of Quarry Road from Ghent Road to approximate 400 feet west of Palmer Creek Drive. The project also includes patching, replacing existing culverts at Palmer Creek, and a shared use path on the south side of Quarry Road. Quarry Road will be closed at times to facilitate construction. During closures residents and motorists shall use alternate routes such as Rueck, Ghent, etc. Palmer Road will be signed as a one way street from Rueck Road to Palmer Drive. As always your cooperation and patience is greatly appreciated as the roadway improvement project is performed. Expected completion date is set for May, 2021.
