You can force the client to refresh the map via the Advanced Settings.

Do you need to select a specific overlay to ge the road shields?

No - for me they just showed up the other morning when I routed myself to work as usual.

I did notice that day that when I panned to other areas that I hadn’t just routed through there were no shields in those areas. Advanced->Data Transfer->Refresh map of my area took care of that though, so now shields are showing up everywhere.

I did notice one R- road not showing shields yesterday evening (I think), but this was in a remote area, so maybe tiles for the have to have been recently generated - so check with a recently-edited area.

Version 3.9 on iphone has the road shields :slight_smile:

Ive seen a few places around Tralee getting road shields now, but its not universal yet.

Looks like the background colour of the shields for N- roads has been changed - it’s now a darker green and looks much more like the actual colour used on the signs.

Anyone elses shields not looking quite right? Mine are missing the yellow on the N shields and the R have no black, motor way seems fine, i’ll try to upload a screenie

Just had a look, and I have the same problem: N- shields just have text in white (not yellow) and R- shields are just a white rectangle with a black border but no text at all.

I can’t remember if they had a yellow border before or not - although I think they do look a little different to before (it’s hard to tell without the previous version next to them).

Hi Timbones Can you check back with your Waze contact about the road shields, the N road shields are showing the writing in white when it should be yellow or gold, and if possible a white trim too?
