Roads i inserted in Harrismith locked?

Hi Guys,

I would like to find out why would a map editor lock a segment of road that i originaly created in my town of Harrismith. I need to edit that segment of raod as there are allot of changes that have happened over the last few weeks. I find this very unfair…

Thanks for the reply. Even though you created those road segments back in July last year, it is a major highway and there for should be locked at L4.
Then we wait for someone with local knowledge, such as yourself, to come along and correct the road layout, and request an unlock / downlock to do so. Nothing unfair about the process.
I’ve downlocked the roads in that area so that you can correct the alignment, which I suspect is the NE segment, looking at the GPS traces.

I have completed the change. Will you just check it for me please.
Do you then re-lock it again until i need to make further changes?

Looks OK, except for the where the western side of detour meets the N5. Doesn’t appear to be at an angle, but two 90 degree turns. Not so?

Yes you’re right thanks.
unfortunately i cnnot edit the left turn from the N5 to the detour.

Sorry, me being stupid and not dropping the lock level. All sorted and locked again. If it’s already been a year and a half, how long remaining?
