Routed through closed road?

Hi all,
I was coming home from a local garden centre yesterday, in the vicinity of major by-pass construction. Waze routed me along a road on which I’ve added a 24hr both way closure. I’m trying to work out why. I’ve tried recreating the route on livemap but it says it can’t find a route.
I was heading from Permalink towards Permalink but wanting to avoid the traffic on the main A487 at the time (too many holiday-makers - lockdown had its advantages!! ) It wanted me to go via Permalink.
I knew I could get out via Permalink and once I was headed that way it got the message. Any ideas what I’m missing?
Thanks
Martin

You’re not missing anything Martin, the Champs have notice this very bad behaviour over the past few days. We initially thought this was a local issue in London but it seems to be spreading :x

That’s a relief - I just assumed I’d done something wrong since I’m an “amateur” editor! The road I took was closed earlier in the process whilst they built a bridge over it. Once that bridge was finished they opened the road and closed the next one which Waze tried to send me down.
Cheers
Martin

I was routed through this closure in High Wycombe earlier today.
Closure is applied correctly and shows in the app.

This UR on Westerleigh Rd near Bristol seems to be this issue too:

Can you please ask for the user’s Waze app version and phone software version? I’m building a list of examples to report to HQ and want to include those details in case they’re relevant. The examples I’ve seen have all been on iOS.

Thanks

BUG-9205 opened in Centercode.

I have Android on the beta channel. Couldn’t tell you what version I had on the day I had the problem but if I see it again I’ll make a note.
Regards
Martin

We’ve heard that the root cause has been identified and a fix will be applied this week. They didn’t say which end, but hopefully this behaviour will now stop causing problems.

I have one, that I have now had three reports on.

One or two maybe could be old versions, but three?

Aren’t these URs reporting routing in the opposite direction to the 1-way closure?
