We are happy to kick off another year of exciting community meetups, all thanks to your valuable contribution! This year promises to be a fantastic opportunity to connect in person with other Waze users and build lasting friendships.

The full list of Meetups is available HERE . Locations will be confirmed as we get closer to each Meetup.

  • Travel limit: for those going to the Meetup by car, fuel expenses will be limited to $300 for a round trip.

  • Maximizing participation: To ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate, each attendee can attend one Local Meetup per year in their country/region of residence. Exceptions may apply at the discretion of your Community Manager. If you are an editor traveling outside your home country during a Meetup weekend, flights originating from outside your region will not be covered.

  • Invite-only meetups: To ensure the best possible experience for our registered participants, these meetups are invite-only. This allows us to manage logistics accurately and provide a comfortable environment for everyone involved. If you are interested in participating but haven’t received an invitation yet, please contact your Community Manager to request written approval.

  • Hotel accommodations: No need to worry about hotel accommodations — we’ve got you covered! Our production company will handle all hotel reservations directly, so you can focus on the agenda and prepare for an exciting gathering.

  • Stay informed: Keep an eye on your inbox! Approximately three months before your Local Meetup, Coordinators will receive a detailed “Next Steps” email, which will include the registration form and other important information.

  • Virtual meetups: For those who still want virtual engagement, we offer a solution! If you are interested in organizing a virtual meetup in conjunction with your local in-person meetup, please contact your Community Manager. They can help coordinate dates and content, and we’ll be happy to assist with the registration process for your virtual event.

Scheduled dates (subject to change):

  • Southeast Regional North-Northeast Regional (February 7, 2026)
  • Center-South Regional (May 30, 2026)
  • Mega Brazil (July 10–12, 2026)
  • North-Northeast Regional Southeast Regional (November 21, 2026)

If the 2025 ones were already amazing, imagine what’s coming next!

Who else is excited to find out which cities will be hosting the meetups? :star_struck:

I want to win the Mega da Virada if the Mega is in Rio.

Then you would sponsor the Mega in Piauí, air conditioning the state to host us

@alemenezes I think you posted this twice

Where did you find the duplicate?

I think @mucagba is talking about the bullet points (topics).
The items are repeated within the same post.

In the topics.

I think @mucagba and @paulogustavoPI jumped the gun and started drinking ahead of time and are seeing double :face_with_peeking_eye:

Mhm… Look at that, @paulogustavoPI, we’re the ones stuck with it!!

No worries, @alemenezes will buy us a beer at the meetup and it’s all good.

You missed your chance; if he wrote it twice, then the refund should have been double :money_mouth_face:

Oh man, I can’t wait for the meetups!

Let’s get this on the calendar, apply for some openings, and have a drink to celebrate on @alemenezes, who made the post.

Cheers

Wow, the North-Northeast one is still a long way off lol, but it’s good that it’ll be on a long holiday weekend. Already looking forward to it!
