[Script] Live Map UR Layer v3.3 (20231011)

What I do is zoom in, pick a start and end point using the live map navigation script. When you get the turn instructions on the left, click on one and a bubble will pop up on the map. One of the choices in the bubble is to open that spot on the edit map.

That works! Bit of a workaround, but a better way to find the right spot than searching the editor map.

It is way simpler to zoom in and open an editor page using a bookmarklet.

Or just click on the ā€œUpdate mapā€ link at the top of the screen.

The Livemap Navigation addon fixes this link to be a proper edit permalink for the current location.

Duuh. How stupid am I? Absolutely right, Tim - that’s exactly what I needed. Forget I asked.

Thank you !!

This is Great! Thanks for Script and your time.

Would there be a easy way to tweak the script to show all UR’s but the waze automatic ones?

I refuse to fix those till the city layer is fixed.

Is this script supposed to work on Chrome ? Because I can’t see anything new in Livemap even if there are UR’s that I have the right to edit.

Yes, but you have to enable the options to display the URs. There’s a bar above the livemap.

Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2

I was expecting that but no bar was visible. However I missed the part were it was written that you have to be on https version of livemap, not the http. I always used the default one that is http and never thought using a more secure one.

Now with https:// the bar is visible and the script is working just fine. My bad

1.1 is now available, bringing with it a full complement of UR and map problem filter options, just roll your mouse over the small green LMUR bar to find them…

Note that due to a lack of map problems in my editable area, filtering for these is untested, but as it’s based on the tested UR filtering code then, fingers crossed, it’ll hopefully work OK.

OK I’ve just been testing it.

It looks like all the filtering for URs is working, whether in show or hide mode. However, the Map problems don’t seem to work in show mode. If I enable & select show, it doesn’ matter how many of the boxes I check, I won’t see any MPs. However, if I select hide, they all appear and I can hen hide he individual types.

When you’ve fixed that - - I’ve got another suggestion. How easy would it to be to give the livemap pop-ups some of the same functions as the WME pop-ups i.e. ā€œOpen in new WME tabā€ and ā€œHide for this sessionā€? That way, editors could use the livemap as their ā€œbaseā€ - scan a much wider area and then pop into a WME tab for each problem they want to deal with.

Thanks for testing the problem marker support, show mode should now be working in v1.1.1…

Ugrading the marker popups with URO-style functionality is now right at the top of the to-do list, which means it’ll probably get passed over several times in favour of other stuff that grabs my attention

6-hour turnaround for a bug fix - impressive, particularly overnight. (Yes, I know: ā€œreal programmers don’t work 9 to 5 - unless it’s the ones at nightā€).

It’s nearly there, but there still seems to be a problem with ā€œMissing Roadā€ and ā€œMissing Crossroadsā€ MPs. If I have ā€œshowā€ selected, ticking the boxes for either of these doesn’t make them appear. If I select ā€œhideā€, then ticking doesn’t hide them.

That’ll teach me to copy and paste code without changing the element IDs… 1.2 resolves this problem, and it also introduces a new feature for displaying URs and problems outside of the users editable area, courtesy of the Play Mode now offered in WME

Anyone else getting 0 bytes?
I disabled and deleted the old version. I should have tried to download the new one 1st :frowning:

EDIT: It looks like a problem with userscripts. I can’t download anything from their servers.

Here is the previous version (1.1.1):

I am also getting the 0 bytes… Actually i just get a blank page and no additional popup when I click the install button. But when I try another script it works fine…

Unfortunately the userscripts site has been suffering from an excess of traffic overloading the servers for the past few days, and the admin is in the middle of restructuring the site to try and get it up and running properly again. They posted a status update 20 minutes ago which said they hoped to have things back to normal in a couple of hours…

Just got the download successfully (30-odd kB) but haven’t had a chance to test it yet!

[EDIT] All seems to be working correctly now!
