[Script] WME Place Hunter

Hi everyone,

I’ve developed a script to help you identify places with Google Maps links that are either closed or located too far from that place.

How it works: Please note that this script does not extract information directly from Google Maps. It simply highlights the places that PIE has already flagged as “closed” or “far away.”

To use this script, you must have PIE active.

You can install it here:

Key Features:

  • Audio Notifications: The script includes a background alert sound so you can scan places in one tab while editing in another.

    • Note: While this feature is included for all, please be aware that the sound is primarily audible on Windows; it may not be heard on Mac systems.

I get a 404 error when following that link (after removing the Google search part)

Is there a way to “turn off” the script (aside from unloading it from Tampermonkey)?

Also is this only for Mac Computers? The information at the top of the greasyfork page:

Scans visible places for Google Maps issues (Closed & Far). Dessigned only for Mac computers.

Not at the moment.

On Windows, you will hear the background noise during WhatsApp or Teams calls. This noise is included to keep the script running when you are in another tab.

I have a new version of the script.

I change the name of the script, so you must install the script again.

Now it scans places that have no address and suggest the name of the near street,
