Thank you for fixing the script!
That sir, is a thing of beauty!! Thank you!
This is so great! Thank you much!
Great job Justin! Thanks a lot.
I have only one unimportant comment. When you move a tool window, the layout changes:
thanks for the update and the great addition to change diameter! very very useful and working fine.
As it keeps the original creator, is it correct it is not the same as āredoā where it would be recreated?
Correct. This moves all of the nodes to s new location whereas TBās redo roundabout creates new segments
Even better! We didnāt have that option before besides manually moving all nodes
thanks again!
You give such good tools and we just want more ![]()
It would be nice to select a single junction node on a RA and be able to move it left or right along the RA.
Amazing.
Thanks!
Update released - 2019.03.21.01
RA expansion/contraction now possible
great script

Interesting idea
Thank you for this helpful and much-awaited addition to the script!
And, since we have this feature now, Iād like to give you another idea - would it be possible for the script to reset a distorted roundabout back to its circular shape.

ā¦maybeā¦?
There would be several ways to accomplish this
- Set to the smallest radius
- Set to the largest radius
- Set to an average radius
- Set to an entered radius
Since you can adjust the diameter I guess it doesnāt necessarily matter which?
This would only really work well on already mostly circular RAs since I donāt/wonāt try to evenly space the nodes like a freshly created RA.

Thereās a possible way to do that, although a bit of a kludge.
- Delete the existing roundabout and extent the connecting roads inward
- Draw a replacement roundabout
- copy the coords for the various nodes on the new roundabout
- undo the drawing actions
- re-arrange the existing nodes to match.
That might be easy or not - Iām only floating the idea but feel free to shoot it down.

Setting the radius of the roundabout to the blue helper circle, produced by the script, will do the job. This also will help solve the problem when a roundabout node is moved left or right as well as already distorted roundabouts.

WME Toolbox has such function - Redo roundabout.
The Toolbox function rebuilds the roundabout from scratch, meaning the segments are all new. The idea with Justinās script is to maintain segment data by adjusting the segments rather than rebuilding them
Update released - 2019.03.27.01
Added the ability to shift the A & B nodes of a single roundabout segment along the roundabout so it isnāt necessary to disconnect and reconnect after adjusting the size/position and the node no longer lines up.
This will move the selected node āinā (meaning toward the other end of the selected segment) or āoutā (away from the other end of the selected segment) along the existing geometry points, shifting them between the segments.
