Since the roundabout script was (and hopefully will be ‘soon’) a real lifesaver I have a question about something you might consider as an extension. I’m editing in Oman, and in some places the satellite view has shifted considerably since the segments there were first mapped. Would it be feasible to extend RA Util to shift a bunch of selected segments?
Yes but I am not going to make this available as it is too sensitive to abuse. If this is something that is desired I would not release it under the champ level due to it being too easy to use for farming edits.
Fantastic update - and I’m going to immediately be very cheeky and ask for it to be improved.
The UK map is littered with mini-roundabouts, like a case of virulent acne. We try to keep these to a minimum radius of 7m (for the display in the app), so a job I often have to do is replace too-small roundabouts. Now I can easily enlarge them - but the angles part of your script doesn’t update the diameter it’s showing, so I don’t know where to stop. Can you either have the angles display update live, or add an updating diameter in the dialog? I should note that this can be exclusively in metres: units localisation doesn’t affect the native roundabout drawing tool.
Updating the roundabout angles display so the radius is recalculated after a diameter change. Note that the displayed radius is a rounded value so it may jump 2m sometimes.
Excellent! Now I’ve just got to work out the best way to deal with the fact that JAI drops an angle indicator in the middle of a roundabout, covering up the diameter measurement.
[EDIT] Seems to be intermittent - sometimes the JAI angle is on top, sometimes the RA Util diameter is on top. Must be a timing issue - which one adds their layer first.
