Hi, Just wonder about the âRedo RAâ behavior. I am trying to update this RA but when I use Redo RA, it cuts also those FreeWay segments. (disregarding their different elevation)
Is that intentional? (Or is that something that wants to be fixed or can be configured?)
Can such behavior be avoided without me touching those FW segments? (They are above my editor level + Itâs extra opportunity to screw up something I did not want to change. )
I would ask a senior editor to drag them out of the way before trying to redo the RA - add geohandles and just pull it away. When done, remove any geohandles added to have the FWY snap back to where it was. No need to disconnect anything.
I donât know if this has been requested before. First of all, let me admit to not having read all 237 pages of this thread as well as being fairly new to WME. Having said that, I have recently come upon a situation where it would be nice to use copy segment attributes to copy restrictions. If this is something youâve already considered, I am prepared to stand down. If not, I think it could be quite helpful.
If you are talking about driving restrictions, like timed restrictions on segments, there is a native WME function to do this. Select the segments, click Edit Restrictions then use the âApply to allâ function:
Edited: 1/14/2021 - I was wrong - only one segment was selected so âcopy option was missingâ - alter selecting multiple segment copy option is available.
Good afternoon friends,
can someone explain to me also clearly what the following error means?
Will it affect the routing by the ways that present this error?
Thank you.
This highlight shows segments that connect back to themselves at the end creating a loop. I cannot create an example for an image and donât have one anywhere I know of to show you.
Soft turns are turns that are not âconfirmedâ (there is a value for this in the data model). This is pretty much only seen in basemap areas and used to lead to an increased routing penalty as the routing engine wasnât sure if the turn was valid or not. However, I have no idea if thatâs still the case as soft turns become less and less prevalent in the maturing map.
You may well be aware that todayâs Production update of WME has broken the Fancy Permalinks, probably due to changes to the map footer. The symptom is that the FPs donât appear in the footer.
Iâve got what looks like a relevant error in the console:
FancyPermalink.min.js:21 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'style' of null
at WMETB_FPinitialiseFP (FancyPermalink.min.js:21)
at WMETB_FPinitializeWazeObjects (FancyPermalink.min.js:17)
at WMETB_FPrun (FancyPermalink.min.js:282)
at WMETB_wait_FP (WME_Toolbox.prod.min.js:4)
Is the Nudge HNs button working for anyone else? I tried in incognito mode with only toolbox running and I couldnât get it to nudge house numbers no matter what I tried.
Looks like itâs working for me. Enter HN mode, click the button, the HN disappear (side effect), the save button lists each HN as âmovedâ, then save. The HN show I last edited them.
