[Script] WME Toolbox 1.9.0 - 1.9.29 (New thread linked below and on last page)

It nudges HNs

You must be in Edit House Number mode for it to work.

If you have HN NavPoints installed, it is easier to see it actually work

Without HN NavPoints installed, it still works just not as visible.

Once you save, the HNs will return and the stop points will be adjusted.

Thanks for showing how it should work.
But clicking the nudge button isn’t doing anything for me.

If this had been in the description, I probably would not have asked. Then I have to look in the map for such places

SkiDooGuy will have to look into what is happening for you.

Hi, Just wonder about the “Redo RA” behavior. I am trying to update this RA but when I use Redo RA, it cuts also those FreeWay segments. (disregarding their different elevation)
Is that intentional? (Or is that something that wants to be fixed or can be configured?)
Can such behavior be avoided without me touching those FW segments? (They are above my editor level + It’s extra opportunity to screw up something I did not want to change. )

I would ask a senior editor to drag them out of the way before trying to redo the RA - add geohandles and just pull it away. When done, remove any geohandles added to have the FWY snap back to where it was. No need to disconnect anything.

I am not sure if this was intended behavior or not. But I’ll see if I can address it. Thanks for bringing it up.

Within the last month the ability to force the Fancy Permalinks to use beta or production links has disappeared.

Hey, thanks for bringing this up. Someone had mentioned it to me in a PM and after I checked I mistakenly disabled it in the last version.

It’ll be corrected in the next release.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

I don’t know if this has been requested before. First of all, let me admit to not having read all 237 pages of this thread as well as being fairly new to WME. Having said that, I have recently come upon a situation where it would be nice to use copy segment attributes to copy restrictions. If this is something you’ve already considered, I am prepared to stand down. If not, I think it could be quite helpful.

There is a script for that already. Restriction Manager https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/369887-restriction-manager

I have not used it myself, so am not sure if it is rank locked or not.

If you are talking about driving restrictions, like timed restrictions on segments, there is a native WME function to do this. Select the segments, click Edit Restrictions then use the “Apply to all” function:

Hi Russ,

That option is rank locked.

Edited: 1/14/2021 - I was wrong - only one segment was selected so “copy option was missing” - alter selecting multiple segment copy option is available.

ps. Russ thank you for your help to solve this!

Good afternoon friends,
can someone explain to me clearly what the following error means?
Thank you.

Good afternoon friends,
can someone explain to me also clearly what the following error means?
Will it affect the routing by the ways that present this error?
Thank you.

This highlight shows segments that connect back to themselves at the end creating a loop. I cannot create an example for an image and don’t have one anywhere I know of to show you.

Soft turns are turns that are not “confirmed” (there is a value for this in the data model). This is pretty much only seen in basemap areas and used to lead to an increased routing penalty as the routing engine wasn’t sure if the turn was valid or not. However, I have no idea if that’s still the case as soft turns become less and less prevalent in the maturing map.

@SkiDooGuy thanks for the explanation,
do you have any images of those errors?

You may well be aware that today’s Production update of WME has broken the Fancy Permalinks, probably due to changes to the map footer. The symptom is that the FPs don’t appear in the footer.

I’ve got what looks like a relevant error in the console:

FancyPermalink.min.js:21 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'style' of null at WMETB_FPinitialiseFP (FancyPermalink.min.js:21) at WMETB_FPinitializeWazeObjects (FancyPermalink.min.js:17) at WMETB_FPrun (FancyPermalink.min.js:282) at WMETB_wait_FP (WME_Toolbox.prod.min.js:4)

Is the Nudge HNs button working for anyone else? I tried in incognito mode with only toolbox running and I couldn’t get it to nudge house numbers no matter what I tried.

Looks like it’s working for me. Enter HN mode, click the button, the HN disappear (side effect), the save button lists each HN as “moved”, then save. The HN show I last edited them.
