Hi Florida editors! If you would like to be added to the SE Region Discord Server, please click this link https://discord.me/southeast. It’s a fun way to help each other out, learn, and make the map even better!
That page has been in full swing for a little over a week and it is most helpful. A great way to not only get to know fellow editors in your State and Region, but functional on answering quick questions and getting input on tricky issues. We need to get all the SE Region editors using it now. Driving79 - Great Job!
Good morning. I’m new to Waze and am working trying to develop a statewide plan in FL to list active work zones as they are setup. I represent the Asphalt Industry and want to encourage our members to become Waze members and list active temporary work zones as they are put up. A temporary work zone is typically an 8 to 10 hour shift where active work is being performed, often at night. We are trying to help get the word out to everyone on Waze in hopes they would pay more detailed attention when traveling through to protect not only themselves but the workers in the work zone. Looking for ideas on how best to make this happen. Thanks! Jim Warren Asphalt Contractors Association of Florida.
I’ve been banned for almost 3 years from posting updates on traffic conditions. How do I get this cleared up? I’m not sure why this happened but I’m sure I don’t deserve to be barred from helping other motorist for this long. Any hep would be appreciated. Thanks
My team works in the Florida DOT Regional Traffic Management Centers. I would like to figure out the best way to coordinate emergency road closures. I believe the current process uses Sunguide and the 511 system to get the information to Waze. Is there a better way? What is the current time it takes for this process?
Please let me know the best way to quickly identify these closures.
My account had been blocked from reporting for a few days now and I’m trying to figure out how to unlock it. It says I was reporting too much, but I’ve only submitted a few reports the week prior to the block. Thank you for your help.
