Searching for an address never populates

HI Everyone,

Just joined today and downloaded Waze a few minutes ago.

When I try to add my favorite (home Location) and I type in my home address, it never tries to search, it never gives me any thing to choose and never allows me to add anything,

Am I missing something?

I go to :

  1. Navigate
  2. I type in Address 123 blah blah blah, state, zipcode
  3. there is nothing to press to search, nothing appears, no suggestions, no nothing and yes, I do have my Satellite turned on.

Suggestions?

What SmartPhone are you using?

There should be a button to press to initiate the search. In iOS (iPhone) it’s the blue search button on the virtual keyboard.

I have a Droid X,

The only virtual keyboard is the one that pops up from my phone.

Are you suggesting that Waze has it’s own keyboard?

I’ve triple checked, there is no search button anywhere cry

No, Waze does not have it’s own keyboard.

Are you pressing the ‘carriage return’ / ‘enter’ button? The button at the bottom right? (I don’t have a Droid X and this may not be a screen shot of the keyboard on your device)
