Shelter Island Ferries

Hey NY,
I’m way out of my area, but I have a local-ny request that I just thought of. Can a long island editor add the time restrictions for the ferry segments at shelter island. I’ll detail all the info below, you just get to do all the work!

NORTH FERRY
SI-bound North Ferry restrict hours of 0000 to 0600 for all vehicles.
Greenport-bound North Ferry restrict hours of 2345 to 0540 for all vehicles.
SOUTH FERRY is more complicated
Both Segments have the same times, but different dates:

  • Restrict all vehicles from 0145-0540 June 21 - Sept 1
  • Restrict all vehicles from 2345-0540 SUNDAY-THURSDAY September 2nd thru June 20th
  • Restrict all vehicles from 0145-0540 SATURDAY-SUNDAY September 2nd thru June 20th
    You may run into issues with crossing midnight, but I think you will be okay with times/days above.
