Some changes didn't update

Hello. I have a problem in Pitesti, Romania. I’ve updated some landmarks and they didn’t appear.
There are ment to be on the small streets near “Design Media” in the picture.

There are currently delays updating the Map Tiles on the International (ROTW) Server. See http://status.waze.com/ for details.

There were like 3 updates since i added the landmarks . And other updates did appear, some junctions and a roundabout that i updated 2 days ago. The missing landmarks were created on 02nd of september and when i’ve seen that the updates didn’t took place , i re-updated them.

I also don’t see any updates in Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain. I did quite some editing, adding landmarks like parking lots, hotels, some streets and there is nothing new neither on the Live Map nor in the mobile phone Waze client.

Any suggestions? I always edit through es.waze.com – which I am automatically directed by my browser, by the way.

I’m not sure how things work on the INTL server, but over here small landmarks don’t display. I think they need to be at least 50 meters. Those look fairly small to me.

Ok, I’ll answer my own question… well, actually this is the answer from the Waze Wiki :roll:

Tiles on the app are cached, and only refreshed when one of the following conditions is met:

You are showing a specific location on the map from the address search.
You are navigating to or through the tile.
The tile is over one week old.
[b]You use the manual option to Refresh map of my area under Settings >> Advanced >> Data Transfer[/b]

Ok, I’ll answer my own question… well, actually this is the answer from the Waze Wiki :roll:

Your question about why landmarks don’t appear was answered right after your post. Why streets don’t appear has more to do with the tile build process. Were your changes before or after September 29?
