Hi Steve
I’m using Waze with a Parrot bluetooth kit and an IPhone 4. The Waze bluetooth connectivity works for me. If and how you can get Waze audio over bluetooth depends on what kit you are using. In basic terms Bluetooth audio output for music and apps like Waze isn’t the same as bluetooth for a phone headset. What gear are you using?

Use bluetooth Waze all the time to a Bluetooth Speaker. Then I FM it to my Jeep Stereo sometimes.
Waze doesn’t do it, the phone does.
I’m using Waze with an iPhone 3GS and the Motorola Roadster blutooth kit. The audio from Waze is intermittent – essentially the first second or so of audio directions from waze is cut-off. Instead of hearing “Turn right on Maple Street.” I will hear “Street” or something to that effect. If I play some music, waze will interrupt the music with the full directions. I’m guessing this is more of a problem with the Roadster auto-disconnecting when there isn’t audio constantly coming over blutooth. Playing music and keeping the blutooth connection alive eliminates the problem. My work around is to play an hour long silent file I created, if I don’t want to listen to music from my iPhone.
Hey all, I was just looking for a solution for this, my phone allows me to make calls over bluetooth but Waze does not use it.
Im also using a Parrot bluetooth kit, it was already in my Golf when I got it, but its named Parrot CK3100 in my bluetooth list. Im not sure if thats the same as yours mr Jules, but maybe you can give me some things I can try.
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S, Cyanogenmod 7.1.0, Android 2.3.4.
Although it was the same when I had the Samsung Stock Rom on it.
Using the latest market Waze version.
So I noticed Waze uses the Media sound of its navigation voice.
It appears only phone (calls) go over my bluetooth set.
Can do two things I think;
Any idea how to?

update: Went inside the bluetooth settings of my phone (should have done that before…)
When I press options for the bt connection with my Computer it lists profiles for Phone and Media.
The options for the bt connection for the Parrot only shows Phone. They are all ticked, but I cannot add Media…
