We just had confirmation from Waze that they opened the Speed Limit feature in Switzerland this morning!
Go to your settings to check the new options. For now only on Waze 4.0 (coming soon on Android)
Wir haben von Waze soeben die Bestätigung bekommen, dass die Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungen in der Schweiz ab sofort angezeigt werden! In den Einstellungen gibt es dazu neue Optionen. Nur für Waze 4.0 (für Android bald verfügbar).
Ihr werdet feststellen, dass die Geschwindigkeiten schon ziemlich gut erfasst sind.
NatĂĽrlich gibt es aber auch noch Fehler.
Setzt dazu bitte einfach eine Fehlermeldung über die App ab. Es gibt noch keine eigene Kategorie dafür. Nehmt einfach ,allgemeiner Kartenfehler’ und schreibt die richtige Geschwindigkeit rein.
Google Play Version 4.0.0.2 hat bei mir die Option Tachoanzeige (gleich unter Navigation), wo alles eingestellt werden kann. Fehlen diese Optionen bei Dir auch oder ist es nur beim fahrenden Auto (benutze ein anderes 4.0.0.2 mit “Code” im Auto)?
Sorry to reply in english but I’m in a hurry and it’s going to be faster for me.
I spoke with the devs and they said that Speed limits are only working for BETA testers on Android still for now. It should come to all Android users in about two (maybe three) weeks.
This has not been tested (by me at least as I have iPhone) but you may try to enter “##@debugspeed” in the search bar of the app to enable a mode where you could maybe see them. Technically it should work only for beta, so I’m not sure what the effect would be on a Play Store release.
